We are seeking aSoftware Engineer IIwho should be a self-motivated individual who proactively completes tasks with strong attention to detail. You will provide infrastructure system administration support for Jupyter Notebook, an open source developed, web-based data science platform that supports DIY analytics. Also you will be expected to monitor the application, pull logs on AWS and restart containers as needed, troubleshoot and resolve operations issues, and create automation scripts and documentation as needed in a collaborative team environment.

Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Position Required Skills:

• Containerization and Orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Well grounded Linux Fundamentals
• Cloud System Administration (AWS preferred or similar experience Azure, Google Cloud)
• Ruby on Rails
• Python Scripting
• Gitlab
• Java Programming
• Agile Development
• Elasticsearch/Kibana

Qualifications:

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
