THE WORK

• Provide System Administration (SA) support, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems.

• Implement environments using popular technologies for a big-data enterprise service with a highly collaborative team.

• Maintain and support Linux environments, including CentOS 7 and RedHat.

• Transition to AWS environments as needed.

• Perform patch installations, IAVA, server certifications, STE/STN compliance, system maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Organized, efficient, experienced System Administrator will implement environments using popular technologies for a big-data enterprise service with a highly collaborative team.

• You have strong Centos 7 and RedHat skills with willingness to transition to AWS environment.

• You are able to understand all the basic requirements of systems administration in support of a Linux environment

Basic Qualifications:

- Candidate must possess security clearance with a polygraph

- Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

- Demonstrated strong Linux skills and experience in patch installations, IAVA, server certs, STE/STN compliancy, system maintenance, tuning and trouble shooting

Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
