Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a Cyber Specifications Systems Engineer Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
As a Cyber Specifications Systems Engineer on our team, you will support the Program Management Office (PMO) whose mission is to deliver products and services that leverage our technical expertise to improve nation's cybersecurity posture. You will provide general systems engineering support including research, collaboration, authoring and maintaining the standardized specifications; and research and reconcile disparate industry trends and standards, security vulnerabilities, risks, and technical integration requirements.
Experience in applying systems engineering and integration support.
Knowledge of SE Best Practices and innovative approaches to applying those practices in a fast-paced ongoing development environment.
Solid application of SE throughout the lifecycle of a development effort. Ability to operate independently.
Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations
Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
Requirements
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 2 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's or PhD Degree in a qualifying discipline may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: A High School Diploma or GED plus 6 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
