Salary: $33.00 - $37.00/hrThe Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing client services and managing the JLL Logistics staff. This role requires ensuring the safety stewardship of the entire team and adherence to all OIMS requirements, processes, and regulatory policies. The Logistics Supervisor will manage various logistics groups, including Sample Warehouse, Stockroom, and Shipping and Receiving. This position involves personnel reviews, training coordination, as well as overall knowledge of logistics, shipping and receiving, and purchasing. It is crucial for the candidate to possess familiarity with hazardous goods, DOT, IATA, IMDG, and chemical receiving/registration. The ability to interact effectively with clients and JLL staff, manage recruiting and onboarding, and ensure KPIs are met is essential. This role involves evaluating job performance, conducting safety inspections, coordinating material distribution, operating industrial power equipment, facilitating toolbox talks, managing inventory, and handling procurement responsibilities. Safety stewardship, LPS Safety Stewardship, management meetings and reporting, and care management are integral aspects of this role.Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent client services and oversee the management of the JLL Logistics staff.
Ensure safety stewardship and compliance with OIMS requirements, processes, and regulatory policies.
Manage various logistics groups, including Sample Warehouse, Stockroom, and Shipping and Receiving.
Conduct personnel reviews, coordinate training requirements, and manage daily duties and projects.
Possess overall knowledge of logistics, shipping and receiving, and purchasing.
Handle hazardous goods, DOT, IATA, IMDG, and chemical receiving/registration.
Interact with clients and JLL staff at all levels effectively.
Manage recruiting needs and ensure smooth onboarding processes.
Work with JLL management and clients to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Evaluate job performance on an ongoing basis.
Perform safety and general housekeeping inspections.
Coordinate the receiving and distribution of incoming material, equipment, and samples.
Streamline daily workflow through the MIDAS cue.
Operate forklift and other industrial power equipment.
Facilitate daily toolbox talks.
Manage inventory for the stockroom and shipping/receiving functions.
Fulfill procurement responsibilities.
Ensure safety through LPS Safety Stewardship.
Participate in management meetings and provide necessary reporting.
Oversee care management initiatives.Qualifications:
Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and data reporting.
Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills.
Minimum 3 years of prior supervisory experience, preferably 5 years.
Familiarity with shipping/receiving operations.
Prior experience in forklift operation will be preferred.
Ability to assist in all three areas: Sample Management, Receiving, and Stockroom, as needed.
Ability to lift minimum 40 lbs.
Previous experience with chemical handling is desirable.
