Thomson Reuters Holdings Inc Tax Analyst in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will deeply understand tax software and research tools.
About the role: You will participate in utilizing your tax expertise skills to test new AI-enabled tax software to determine the validity of the results. It will require working closely with other internal teams including tax accountants, programmers, and clients. You will analyze the results for different projects and provide feedback. This role is critical in our efforts to enable AI-driven content for our customers. As a Tax Analyst on this project, you will utilize your tax knowledge and experience within a small team in a unique, flexible work environment. Where the team works together in coordination with other internal teams to accomplish goals rather than just completing tasks. Analyze tax forms and instructions.
About You: Review implementations as software is developed.
Validate outcomes for tax accuracy.
Be able to speak to tax preparation general challenges.
Write and/or communicate feedback on design and operation.
Test software products.
Develops tax, accounting, auditing, and other specialized knowledge and skills as required to complete work and stay current on trends and developments related to editorial responsibilities.
Develops proficiency in product and editorial processes, software programs, and applications.
Reviews verifies, and edits material from internal and external contributors for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
Ensures that the information is properly presented and organized.
Stays abreast of developments in the tax, accounting, auditing, and other specialized reporting areas through a variety of sources.
Coordinates and communicates with project team members, outside contributors, and various departments to ensure quality standards, and deadlines are met for assigned projects.
Contribute ideas for workflow improvements.
