This role is hybrid with on-site expectations in Ann Arbor, MI. You will travel to several locations to conduct work and deliver materials. Domestic or international travel may be required. Purpose:
As the Strategic Project Coordinator, you are responsible for the management, performance, and completion of marketing, communications, and strategic partnership projects. You will coordinate the activities of a project team, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure the completion of the project. You must be familiar with project goals, and the role and function of each team member, to coordinate the activities of the team. You will report directly to the Associate Director.

Responsibilities*
Marketing Execution: (40%)
You will design and post social media content, update the Erb website, write newsletter and blog content, and supporting publication projects.
Ensure availability of promotional materials.
Conduct regular inventory checks, place orders, and monitor expenses.
Contribute new ideas and take them from concept to launch, working with external vendors, coordinating schedules and interviews, and sharing content.
Partnership Support: (40%)
Collaborate with Erb staff to facilitate annual board and business engagement meetings.
Help organize Erb Institute alumni engagement initiatives, including reunions and regional events.
Contribute to the execution of the Institute's partnership strategy by analyzing the goals, motivations, and challenges of potential partners.
Initiate and facilitate discussions with business partners and board members on initiatives aligned with Erb Institutions missions and goals.
Administration: (20%)
Manage work plans for multiple projects, including documentation and tracking of timelines, key benchmarks, activities, and deliverables.
Manage project-related correspondence, scheduling, and communications.
Manage all partnership data, including inputting and maintaining contact and tracking information in Salesforce.
Coordinate meetings between institute leadership and business and academic partners.
Prepare presentation materials, including presentation decks, informational packets, and other content.
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree or 2+ years work experience.
Prior experience working within higher education or a nonprofit organization.
Familiarity with Mailchimp, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva.
Familiarity with Zoom, EventBrite, and meeting tools.
Familiarity with project management software platforms, such as Monday.
Additional Information
The general salary range for this position is $46,000 - $51,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process. Selected candidates whose start date is 4/1/2024 or after, will not be eligible for the university FY24-25 salary/merit plan unless otherwise notified.
