Responsibilities*

This position is a supportive position to assist a multi-disciplinary team of therapists. The tech will be responsible for cleaning and preventative maintenance of the satellite facility. Tech will also be responsible for supply inventories. There will be some direct patient care under the guidance of licensed staff members. Rehab Tech will support the Outpatient Pediatric OTPTTR Team meet Michigan Medicine's Chaperone Policy for sensitive examinations and procedures.

Required Qualifications*

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Computer skills and effective verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Experience working as a rehab tech ad pediatrics preferred.

  • Computer skills in PowerPoint, excel, word and PDF preferred.

Work Schedule

The rehab tech will be expected to work a standard schedule to include a mix of opening an closing shifts. Clinic hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 7am - 7 pm and Fridays 7 am - 5 pm.

Additional Information

NOTE: This position is at PRC- Pediatric Rehabilitation Center on Commonwealth Blvd off of Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor.

Union Affiliation

This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.

Background Screening
