Job Summary

This position is for a tenure track faculty member at the Assistant Professor to Professor level (1.0 FTE). The faculty member will be a research scientist (PhD) based in the Division of Nuclear Medicine, part of the Department of Radiology. It is anticipated that the faculty member will lead a lab and build a high-profile research program around diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy (theranostics) as they pertain to cancer.

It is expected that this program will attract robust external funding, likely from both federal and industry sources, and that there will be both preclinical and translational clinical components to the research. It is anticipated that the faculty member will make use of existing imaging and theranostic capabilities within the department as well as the extensive resources available in the broader university community while also expanding them as needed.
