Group/DivisionWith over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company. These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others. Talent includes over 500 engineers across global centers in Israel, China, India, and the US. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications As a Linux engineer in HPC, you get to work with ground breaking technology and solve sophisticated problems that drive scientific and engineering advancements. The role offers continuous learning, collaboration with global experts, and the chance to create a significant impact in various fields. In this role, you will chip in to the Deployment as well as Support an HPC Cluster as we run the life-cycle of solutions we ship to customers. You will work with external vendors as well as internal teams to maintain manufacturability of our Production Clusters.Responsibilities for this exciting role will include: Rack, Stack and configure high-performance compute clusters Run robust qualification test cycles to maintain peak performance of cluster designs Run HW BOM for manufactured HPC Clusters Run End of Life cycles for hardware in products with vendors Coordinate Testing of new parts to validate original functionality Use their strong skills with the Linux OS to configure appropriate operating systems for the HPC system Own product development timelines to ensure systems are tested and ready to transition to Manufacturing facilities Support handoff of Manufacturing activities for Product Release Help write descriptive manuals and guides for product platform, including technically significant & sophisticated topics EOL Parts Re-Qualification for long term system deployments Support in-house as well as in-field critical issuesRequired Qualifications: Validated in-depth and flavor agnostic knowledge of Linux systems (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu) HPC HW kno
