Robert Half Guest Services Coordinator in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Description We are offering a unique opportunity in the Non-Profit industry, located in ANN ARBOR, Michigan, 48103-4204, United States. The role of Guest Services Coordinator is pivotal to our operations, involving interactions with clients, managing various floors in the shelter, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. The role also entails documenting client information, ensuring adherence to policies, and effectively communicating with the management team. Must be available to work fully onsite and weekends if needed: Shift Options: 3:45pm - 12:15am or 11:45pm - 8:15am
General Responsibilities:
• Committed to non-profit's mission of ending homelessness.
• Interacting with clients in a non-judgmental ethical manner (see NASW Code of Ethics).
• Responsible for the operation of various floors in the Shelter.
• Be familiar with and implement policies and procedures.
• Ensure all current clients have checked in to the building appropriately.
• Supportive, empathetic, confidential listening and offering clients general assistance.
• Document various client information and activities in HMIS and staff notes professionally and
appropriately.
• Responsible for light cleaning in the facility and the ordering of supplies.
• Welcome and orient new clients to rules and responsibilities of the floor and congregate living.
• Appropriate communication with Manager regarding client Leaves of Absences, Late Arrivals
and other client policy questions.
• Must be willing to work holidays if necessary.
• Must be on time for work and use time clock to document hours.
• Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree, detail oriented certification, or alternative equivalent experience. Related experience
preferred. Knowledge of housing, mental health, chemical dependency, and poverty issues helpful.
Experience in social work, social services, or human services helpful as well.
