Vestil Manufacturing Electrical/Hydraulic Engineer in Angola, Indiana
Assist with designing, developing, documenting, troubleshooting and testing of electric and hydraulic power and control systems. In performing these responsibilities, employees are to work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proficient in the use of typical tools and test equipment associated with electrical and hydraulic systems
- Evaluate electrical and hydraulic systems, components and applications
- Be able to read and understand electric and hydraulic logic diagrams
- Applying knowledge of electricity / hydraulics and their associated components
- Assures product quality by designing electrical and hydraulic testing methods
- Collecting, analyzing and summarizing electrical and hydraulic information
- Develop ladder logic control diagrams (motor controls)
- Develop electrical and power assembly layout drawings using CAD program
- Develop automated product control schemes using PLC's, HML's, and digital and analog control components
- Observe operation of equipment in order to troubleshoot and evaluate issues
- Study potential cost reduction ideas
