We are offering a 6-month temporary opportunity for an IT Support Specialist based in Angels Camp, California. Located in the heart of Calaveras County, this role will be instrumental in providing support, installation, administration, maintenance, and help desk support for our IT systems. This role may also involve license tracking, necessary upgrades, and reimbursable travel.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain NextGen training program for relevant staff.

• Support system and network optimization efforts.

• Provide help desk support for end users and resolve hardware issues.

• Actively work on high criticality tickets to bring them to resolution or escalate appropriately.

• Set up appropriate configuration, updates, settings scope for user workstations.

• Assist with onboarding new end users.

• Implement knowledge of EHR and healthcare related workflows.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite products for various tasks.

• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.

• Maintain clear and concise documentation including policies, procedures, user guides, and network diagrams.

• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Assist and train other team members as needed.

Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft technologies.

• Proven experience in HIPAA Compliance, specifically with Patient Privacy Rule and System Implementation.

• Familiarity with working in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

• Proficiency in managing Next-generation networks.

• Experience with NextGen software.

• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain system performance.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data privacy regulations.

• Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Proven experience in system upgrades and security backups.

• Ability to respond to system failures in a timely manner.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
