Greater Lawrence Technical School Adult Workforce Development Programs prepare Merrimack Valley adults for career pathways and living wage jobs with Northeastern Massachusetts priority industry employers. We provide \"Introduction to\" courses that include hands-on and related theory training in all the construction trades, as well as in advanced manufacturing, automotive, solar photovoltaics and in healthcare. Training is done in our state-of-the-art technical training facilities with highly experienced GLTS teachers to prepare trainees for first-rung occupations of relevant, in-demand careers. Trainings also includes ancillary services, such as career exploration/development, coaching/mentoring, employability skills and job/internship placement. Greater Lawrence Technical School is seeking a full-time Workforce Development Program Manager to oversee all aspects of a variety of the GLTS grant funded workforce development programs. Main responsibilities include: 1. Completing contracting with funder and subcontracting with partners 2. Assisting with technical training staff hiring and supervision 3. Managing subcontractors and partners 4. Narrative reports and fiscal oversight. 5. Operationalizing trainings, including oversight and/or implementation of all aspects of programs, including recruiting, assessment and enrollment; training program curriculum and delivery; ancillary services provided during training; job placement and retention services. 6. Working with the team on employer engagement and ongoing relationship management 7. Reaching program goals and outcome metrics, or adapting program design This is a full-time position with benefits. Must be available 2 evenings until 6 pm each week during the school year.
