The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers.

The Sensors, Surveillance & Space Configuration Management department is seeking a Senior Manager in Andover, MA.

This is an On-site role.

This Senior Manager role will be focused on program configuration management duties, and positioned as the overall technical CM lead to all LTAMDS programs impacting Land Warfare and Air Defense in SSS Hardware CM.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.

• Direct team members in industrial and process evaluation, improvement, and/or reengineering in support of Operations and Engineering activities.

• Technically support program milestones and contribute to successful reviews and customer interchanges.

• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

• Ensure execution is within cost/schedule, and identified risks are being managed

• Generating/reviewing/approving Hardware Engineering bids, participating in engineering program reviews, and quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) reviews.

• Management of data deliveries from suppliers and to customers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant professional experience OR In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant professional experience is required.

• 8 years of configuration management experience.

• Experience with Windchill or related Product Data Management (PDM) tools.

• Experience with Earned Value Management, Risk & Opportunity, IMS and/or IMP tools.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Knowledge of export control or jurisdiction and classification assessments.

• Strong interpersonal skills to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.

• Collaborate effectively with all levels of management and peers.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop and present technical briefings to Leadership.

• Experience with project planning.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
