Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Andover, Massachusetts. This role is integral to our team, focusing on processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit information.

• Handle customer inquiries, providing quick and effective solutions.

• Monitor customer accounts, recognizing and addressing any irregularities.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.

• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions.

• Prepare bank deposits, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting functions is essential

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently

• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is a requirement

• Experience with bank deposit procedures is necessary

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to analyze financial data effectively

• Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Prior experience in an Accounting Assistant role or similar is a plus.
