Job Description:

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, has an opening in it Anderson, SC location for a Distribution Slotting Analyst on our Friday-Sunday 4:30pm-4:30am Shift. The person filling this position will report directly to the ICQA Team Manager and will work collaboratively with both managers and team members to drive efficiency in the operations systemically. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Access. Experience with SAP WM a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Leverage WM and analytical skills to monitor, maintain and advance the efficiency of the system through data analysis, operational engagement and trend analysis and anticipation.

  • Provide coaching and training to manager and team members as needed to fully leverage WM strategies

  • Ensure effective communication of all key WM strategies to encourage a consistent understanding of the reasons for, direction of, and expected results of each strategy

  • Collaborate with internal facility partners as needed (Leadership, HR, Safety, Peers, etc...) to meet operational objectives of the facility

  • Promote and participate in process improvements within the facility to increase efficiency and reduce costs

  • Help ensure consistent execution of WM processes, procedures, and polices

  • Assertively seek solutions at the at the issues or problems

Finance

  • Assist in controlling expenses

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures such as inventory accuracy and control, returns, damages, etc.

  • Understand the relationship between decision-making and profitability

Safety

  • Ensure day-to-day activities are in alignment with the Distribution Center safety strategy.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures

People

  • Effectively manage change within area responsibility

  • Assist with maintaining a positive overall Distribution Center environment

  • Recognize individual and team accomplishments

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a distribution environment preferably with a SAP/WMS system experience and inventory management

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Access

  • b people skills with the ability to influence others at all levels

  • Self-confident and professional in interaction with others

  • Self-motivated with b work ethic

  • Flexibility to work various shift schedules

  • Supervisory experience is a plus

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is a plus

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma is a plus

Physical:

May require some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) as well as other moderate physical effort including bending and stooping.

Environment:

This position requires managing dynamic circumstances, and having the ability to make sound independent decisions based on multiple considerations. Must interface and be able to establish cohesive relationships across departments. Must be able to effectively engage with wide range of personnel under all situations and be both directive and responsive. Communication, interpersonal, planning, organization, and decision-making skills are important.
