Make a Difference

  • The Transportation Aide and Patient Lift Team Member works individually and/or in a team of no less than two.

  • Performs and assists with transportation and/or patient lifts and other patient handling maneuvers, as delegated by the Manager or Director, in collaboration with a Registered Nurse

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience as a Transporter, Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Support Tech, Emergency Medical Tech, etc.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Understanding of patient focused care.

  • Relationship skills.

  • Proficiency in oral and written communication.

  • Ability to critically think, work semi-independently, multi-task, and work under pressure.

  • Ability to demonstrate competence in body mechanics and proper lifting technique.

Additional Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Must have the ability to walk, climb/descend stairs, push, pull, bend, squat, and kneel without restrictions.

  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 75 lbs.
