Job Summary
Have you been looking for a role that combines your talents in building relationships in the community, working with adults and girls, and being part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of others? Come join the Community Engagement team at Girl Scouts of Alaska as a Community Engagement Specialist! This person acts as a first contact for new members connecting with Girl Scouts for the first time and sets the tone for the rest of their membership experience. They also acts as a contact for community partners such as schools, libraries, and recreation centers. This position will focus on cultivating relationships and collaborating with local schools and community based youth organizations to increase Girl Scout visibility and engagement. The Community Engagement Specialist is accountable for generating qualified youth and adult volunteer leads. This person is based in the council office in Anchorage, with travel throughout the council region (SC, SE, and SW Alaska).
