Description

We are actively seeking a General Manager to join our team west of Amsterdam NY. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our business, with a focus on achieving strategic goals, encouraging team cohesion, and fostering continuous improvement across all departments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all departments

• Foster an environment that promotes our core values and addresses any issues in a timely manner

• Collaborate closely with the Controller to maximize profitability and meet financial targets

• Monitor customer interactions and service across departments to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, applying them to improve operations and remain competitive

• Regularly review customer service processes for opportunities for improvement

• Ensure all departments are fully staffed with the right talent, providing training and development opportunities

• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors for effective purchasing and supply chain management

• Implement new systems and procedures that enhance productivity and service quality

• Explore new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments to expand the company’s reach

• Serve as the point of contact for off-site executives, relaying important information and updates as needed.
