Purpose of Role

We are looking for a Sr. Transportation professional to coordinate Under Armour’s day-to-day transportation tasks, partnering with internal and external stakeholders servicing our partners throughout the EMEA region. As part of our Supply Chain team, you will have an important stake in successfully servicing and planning the final delivery of our outbound goods. The role is responsible to service, plan, forecast and execute the shipping targets for our Retail, DTC and B2B flows. The role is also responsible to drive supply chain initiatives and to meet goals related to logistics and financial performance. The ideal candidate should be able to execute the role at a very high level, have a very good attention to detail, have strong communication skills and see opportunities and risks. The candidate should have a service oriented and process driven mindset and be very pro-active.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for day-to-day operational tasks associated with all outbound transportation from our NL and UK warehouses and offices, servicing the full EMEA business.

  • First point of contact for transportation related questions from internal teammates and external partners

  • Performance monitoring, Ad-hoc troubleshooting, process creation, process improvement, active exception tracking, cross functional teammate servicing, financial closure.

  • Responsible for volume forecasting with our carriers, create, share, and present reporting regarding transportation performance.

  • Role also responsible to support in transportation related projects and initiatives, and audit support.

  • Support manager responsibilities during out of office.

Qualifications

  • Results-driven leader with vision and enterprise mindset.

  • Exceptional presentation skills required.

  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to summarize and present complex data.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Knowledge enterprise management system and CRM solutions (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

  • Must have experience in supply chain, customer service and a global knowledge of logistics A to Z. Must be a very strong communicator and must be pro-active.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred – not required if work experience is sufficient

  • +- 3-5 years of similar or related work experience.

  • Fluent in English, other languages a bonus.

  • Must be proficient at using Microsoft Office Applications. Experience with SAP. Must be experienced in excel.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.

  • Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work (baseline of minimum 2 days a week in-office.

  • Travel: 10% | Distribution House and/or Logistics Partner locations.

  • Licenses/Certifications: NL Driving License.
