Our Real-World Data & Evidence Science (RWD&ES) team is at the forefront of unlocking value from real-world data and translating data into insights and evidence to better understand patient needs, change the practice of medicine, inform regulatory and access decision-making and ultimately improve health outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

You will lead a strategic position responsible to:

· Define the RWE and the disease data strategy for the global transplant franchise, in alignment with business strategy, medical priorities and access ambitions.

· Translate and realize the brand and medical strategy into a fit-for-purpose evidence strategy that delivers scientific value and business impact.  

· Partner with Global Medical and Global Market Access Lead(s) to ensure alignment on robust and coherent integrated evidence generation plans and optimized ways of working with other functions.

· Serve as methodological expert in the design and execution of real-world study plans to address critical evidence gaps as well as in-house study methodology expert leveraging opportunities across the Sanofi ecosystem.

· Deliver strong pre- and peri-launch support to prioritized countries, aligned with the global RWE strategic roadmap.

· Conduct initial data landscaping, assessment, and preparation for RWE strategies in future new indications and/or formulations. 

· Manage the end-to-end execution of real-world studies ensuring deliverables are on time, on budget and to defined quality specifications...

· Work seamlessly with cross-functional, internal, and external partners and stakeholders to identify solutions in an optimal and efficient manner. 

· Maintain timely communication and close alignment with team members, partners and stakeholders to ensure clear and timely visibility the evidence strategy, study progress and anticipation of challenges and risk mitigation. 

About you

Experience :

· Demonstrated experience in developing, in partnership with relevant functions, RWE strategies

· End-to-end leadership of RWE studies from concept to study completion and publication for regulatory or reimbursement submissions. 

· Track record of working with routinely collected health data, including structured and possibly unstructured sources in healthcare within pharmaceutical company settings.

· Significant peer reviewed publication track record in epidemiology, clinical, statistical and/or HEOR journals required. 

· Experience working in multiple therapeutic areas – experience in transplant, type 1/2 diabetes and cardiovascular. 

  

Soft and technical skills :

· You have strategic, leadership and visionary thinking capabilities to shape, influence and articulate innovative evidence generation.

· You have demonstrated expertise in pharmacoepidemiology, HEOR and RWE study designs and methodologies, including innovative techniques.

· You can lead and collaborate effectively in highly matrixed global and local organizations to achieve common goals

· You are a self-starter who brings your energy, expertise and experience as well as takes an entrepreneurial approach to solving problems,

· You have a growth mindset and are passionate about unleashing the power of real-world data with data science to improve health.  

Education :

Master’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. pharmaco-epidemiology, biostatistics, computational science, RWE and outcomes research or related) in healthcare is required. PhD is preferred.  

Languages :

· Fluency in spoken and written business English mandatory 

· Proficiency or working knowledge of French or other European languages a plus.
