A Demi Chef de Partie Pastry with Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is responsible to deliver an excellent experience while supporting the Chef de Partie Pastry to planning production and developing seasonal offerings.

What will I be doing?

As a Demi Chef de Partie Pastry you are responsible to deliver an excellent Guest experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Delivering exceptional product and create dessert offerings according to the plan made by your Head Of Department
  • Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings
  • Coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation
  • Facilitate daily requirements
  • Upsell and enhance appropriate seasonal menu offerings
  • Be aware of the food cost to contribute to F&B revenue
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands
  • Previous Pastry Chef experience
  • Approaches pastry in a creative way
