Philips Global CT Training Manager in Amsterdam, Netherlands

As a Global CT Sales Training Manager you will be responsible for sales training and enablement-related activities to include onboarding, new product introduction, product training, continuing education, and sales meetings.

In this role, you have the opportunity

to establish a continuous learning agenda, help build a learning culture across the CT business, and make an impact on how Philips CT goes to market.

You will be able to take ownership of the planning, design, and execution of the programs. This will include product knowledge, value proposition communication, qualification and positioning, competitive differentiation, continuing training and development of tenured marketing and sales, and onboarding of new sales and sales support personnel.

You’re responsible for:

  • Co-developing and executing a global training curricula and framework for the full portfolio of CT products and solutions. This includes a full onboarding program for all CT new joiners, new product introduction training, continuous reinforcement, annual global summit, and support of regional sales training.

  • You will also be responsible for collaborating with the markets and business teams to identify skill, knowledge, motivational and systemic gaps (e.g., areas like product knowledge, positioning, clinical knowledge) and developing appropriate training strategies and curricula to minimize these gaps.

  • You will serve as the consistent “voice” of CT training, working with SMEs to provide content and shaping the final message.

  • Create classroom, virtual and e-learning content, modules and assessments to meet identified certification training objectives and support new hire onboarding, new product introduction, and continuous sales training program for sales, marketing and the business unit.

  • Assist in developing sales training agenda, coordinate instructors, manage the logistics, and facilitate sessions for in-person sales training onboarding, new product introduction, continuous training, and marketing summit.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of product and sales messaging for all new product launches through training modules and programs

  • Gather best practices from members of the markets and business teams and regularly communicate them to the broader audience, including competitive intelligence.

  • Up to 65% travel is expected in this role

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or Healthcare degree

  • Sales training certification or Facilitation certification

  • 3-5 years in sales training

  • Healthcare and/or medical device industry in general

  • Use of learning management systems and e-learning design platforms

  • Create and deploy training curricula through a blended approach including e-learnings, classroom, and virtual training based on adult learning theory

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective e-learning, virtual, and classroom sales training following adult learning principles.

  • Demonstrated capabilities of delivering and managing complex projects with a variety of stakeholders from beginning to end to meet established deadlines.

  • Effective, engaging presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Acumen in storytelling, negotiation, selling, and competitive thwarting.
