Philips Consumer Marketing Manager - Beauty Portfolio in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Your challenge :

You will be part of the global team of Beauty Business Category that belongs to the G&B Business Unit, part of global Philips Personal Health, liaising with marketers in various countries around the world. You may require (limited) travelling. You will be working in a network of various stakeholders based in the headquarters of Philips in The Netherlands and in the Market Organizations across the world.

Your role:

Support Portfolio Go-to-Market strategy & define commercial guidelines

  • Create and drive dedicated commercial strategies for the existing and new portfolio (referred to as consolidated portfolio) to win with our consumers, shoppers in the regions.

  • Defines global portfolio channelization for consolidated portfolio, including top retailers, by understating key price points, role of each customer, commercial strategy, among others in all key regions, as a part of go-to-market plan

  • Defines go-to-market requirements to play and win in each category, including defining NPI criteria for launch, prepare and handshake launch and GTM plan with regions

  • Establish business category commercial guidelines & KPIs along key business success drivers including distribution guideline (wider, deeper and visible distribution), pricing strategy and promo guidelines.

Support business category commercialization and value maximization strategy

  • Ensure the delivery of maximum value of the consolidated portfolio, driving strategic choices, enablers required to deliver targets.

  • Monitor competitive commercial and promotional landscape, revise strategy when needed and establish counterattack plans to continue to drive business category growth.

  • Drives new business development within business category (portfolio, market, channel, retailer).

Support category performance management

  • Prepare performance review with the regions and create follow-up action plans along key business drivers.

  • Improve portfolio health (SKU efficiency, C-tail management, R&R) in coordination with BPL.

  • Support to plan and coordinate key sales moments for the business category including right portfolio, price points and global promo strategy for the business.

  • Collaboration with S&OP team: lead long term sales planning, LV/USP review and supports stock allocation in case of shortage.

You're the right fit if:

  • Min. 3 years of experience in the areas of brand/product management or business development.

  • Demonstrated strong focus on designing successful go-to-market strategies in regional or global level.

  • Strong product and marketing management experience.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field is required.

  • Strong in communication: the ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, and create a network within the organization globally

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, good commercial understanding, and a proven track record of getting things done.

  • Demonstrated strengths in analytical thinking, data analysis and problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to read and understand consumer insights.

  • Fluent in English (written & verbal).
