Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Amityville, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Perform complex wiring and assembly operations to production standards.
  • Complete substrate/component attach, ball bonding, wedge bonding, and parallel gap welding of micro-electronic assemble and repair of assembles.
  • Basic mechanical assembly.
  • Set up and operate all applicable equipment.
  • Provide training and assistance to assemblers of lesser skill levels
  • Work with tiny devices under a microscope.
  • Work with and assist technical personnel, such as Methods Analysts and engineers, in solving practical problems related to their work assignments.
  • Record and maintain data as needed.
  • Work from drawings, operation sheets, and verbal instructions.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $35.00/ hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week (1st shift)

Length: Contract (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in MIL-STD 883 related to wire bonding and component attach.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in assembly from ball bonding, wedge bonding, parallel gap welding substrate, and component attach, rework, and repair.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience with automatic microelectronic assembly equipment, epoxy dispensers, pick and place, and automatic ball bonders.
  • Experience with soldering of wires and SMT components.
  • Experience with space-level assembly.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment.
  • Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks.
  • Good communication skills/written and verbal in the English language.
  • Provide training and assistance to assemblers of lesser skill levels.
  • Leadership qualities.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
