Responsible for providing clerical assistance to the administrator;
Effectively communicates and interacts with students, parents, staff, and administration;
Utilizes enhanced computer systems and equipment;
Sorts, indexes, and files mail, bills, requisitions, ledger cards, and other material;
Pulls material from files, makes file searches, and maintains records;
Checks reports and records for accuracy and completeness;
Answers telephone and gives out information;
Assists in the preparation of payrolls and maintenance of time cards and attendance;
Performs other duties as assigned.
Civil Service Competitive Class - Must be an eligible candidate on the Civil Service CLERK TYPIST list OR eligible for transfer. If not the appointment will be provisional.
