Duties and Responsibilities:
Will be utilized as needed for supervision of sporting events (this is not a full-time position).
Must receive fingerprint clearance prior to the event.
Arrive to the game site 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Maintain constant supervision over the crowd. Chaperones should be constantly moving and interacting with spectators in a positive manner.
Support spectators as needed.
Some events require set-up and breakdown of equipment/ materials.
Must wear a chaperone shirt at all times when on duty.
Abide by the rules and expectations of the facility (ie: dogs are not permitted, no food in the gymnasium, etc.).
Chaperones must report any code of conduct violations to the Athletic Director.
Monitor and engage if spectators are acting inappropriately.
*Individuals who are interested in chaperoning will send their availability to Lorraine Beaudet, Athletic Secretary.
Reports to: Chris Schiumo, Director of Athletics
Salary: $50 - $75 per event
