We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our AP team in Ames, IA

As a Machine operator you will be responsible for the mixing and packaging of various liquid and solid raw materials to produce a finished product of high quality that is ready for shipment to the customer. This role is also responsible for the achievement of production, safety, and quality goals as outlined by their supervisor.

During your 10-hour shift as a Machine Operator, you will

• Operate various mixing, filling and packaging equipment including; liquid filling machines, bulk powder blenders, Induction mixers, pumps.

• Follow production instructions to accurately weigh and add raw materials to batches.

• Maintain Accurate batch and Packaging documentation

• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products, completing all finished good quality checks as required on production documentation.

• Assist, and when necessary lead fellow operators.

• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times.

• Continually maintain plant and work environment for cleanliness and organization.

• Operate forklifts as required (certification course required – we will train).

If you...

• Have a High School Diploma or GED required.

• Possess one year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preffered.

• Own forklift experience.
