McFarland Clinic PC Administrative Intern (Temporary) | Administration | Ames | 2024-122 in Ames, Iowa

Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Administrative Intern for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Attend and participate in various Clinic committees and meetings such as Quality Council and Directors Group. Develop a project statement and outline for one major project or set of minor projects focused on improving Clinic workflows. Oversee completion of the identified project(s) and present recommendations at project completion to Clinic leadership.

Approximately 8-week, temporary position, at 32-40 hours per week

Education

  • Currently enrolled at a College or University.

  • Primary major in healthcare management or business management

  • Prefer students going into 3rd or 4th year of study

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. (32-40 hours per week)
