Job Summary
Supporting the Process engineering piece of the Netherlands service center site expansion, as well as the onboarding of additional volumes and products into the scope of the Service team, continuous improvement, and other duties associated with engineering support of servicing capital devices. Flexible and open-minded person, who is able and willing to take on a variety of tasks and activities to support the Service & Repair Manager and his team in terms of administrative and management matters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
o Responsible for designing, developing and/or implementing new or revised servicing processes for the efficient/economical production of goods.
o Supports and executes Computer System Validation (CSV) and/or process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) processes to ensure calibrated and validated equipment can be used in a compliant way.
o Supporting Service and Repair process projects for Capital Medical devices.
o Provides technical support regarding equipment design and development, testing of materials, preparation of specifications and operator instructions, process studies, investigations, root cause analysis, problem solving and report or presentation preparation.
o Performs assignments designed to continue the development of professional work knowledge and abilities requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks, project management, statistical analysis and presentation of data and technical writing.
Leads engineering projects of low to medium complexity and/or acts as the service and repair core team member in larger scale projects. In this role he ensures that service and repair work packages and activities are executed according to schedule and within budget, while meeting the quality requirements. Tracks costs, prepares status reports, conducts meetings, and documents and communicates progress to management.
Performs gage and measurement system analysis to assess status quo vs future state, provides risk-based analysis to optimize the current process. Is able to use and understand various types of measuring instruments including, micrometers, calipers, comparators, hi-pot safety testers, etc.
Provides day to day support to service such as, but not limited to Power Tools, BioSense, Mitek, Velys Robotics, packaging etc. as required.

Qualifications
Experience And Education
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering or capital service is required.
Previous experience working in a regulated industry, such as Medical Device is preferred.
Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification or 2 years of experience preferred.
Project Management Experience preferred.
