Job Summary Our team is seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead a group of talented Software Engineers to support our Revenue Cycle Management suite of products. As a SWE Manager, you will mentor team members through code reviews and regular 1:1s. You will efficiently break down tasks, build a high-performing team, and deliver outstanding products. You will utilize your technical expertise to help your team follow SOLID coding principles in each sprint.

This role typically oversees around 10 direct reports, including Software Engineers and Software Engineers in Test (both remote and nearshore). SWE Managers collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects and other technical and business stakeholders.

What You Will Do * Hire, retain and develop top talent * Lead your team of engineers and foster a culture of excellence * Actively participate in and oversee all phases of development, from ideation and implementation to post-deployment issue resolution * Build deep partnerships with other engineering leaders, DevOps, product teams, architecture, and other key business areas * Own problems and scope solutions that align with business objectives * Support and advocate for the continued evolution of Agile culture and Scrum best practices * Contribute code to build, maintain and support systems as needed Technologies We Use * Java Spring Boot * MS SQL Server * Rabbit MQ / Kafka * Containerization (Docker) * Micro-Service Architecture * React / Next.js Qualifications

What You Will Have * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred * Previous experience as a Software Engineering Manager or Lead with direct reports * 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java and an excellent understanding of backend systems and SaaS applications * Ability to influence and build relationships * Effective conflict management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent decision-marking abilities

The posted range for this position is$110,000 - $160,000which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a12.5%bonusnot reflected in the posted range.
