Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (Graveyard Shift)

Job Description

• A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join the team.

• The individual will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance for industrial production equipment within a food production facility.

• Duties include troubleshooting, machine breakdowns, rebuilds, welding, electrical programming, PLC knowledge, automation, and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial production equipment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, control systems, pumps, motors, HMIs, and PLCs.

• Conduct machine breakdowns and rebuilds.

• Perform welding, electrical programming, and fabrication tasks.

• Utilize automation knowledge to maintain and repair equipment.

• Handle 480V electrical systems for industrial machinery.

• Document maintenance activities using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

• Communicate maintenance issues to relevant employees such as other maintenance technicians, operators, engineers, and supervisors.

• Properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.

Job Type & Location

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California.
