Integrated Business Planning

Our Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

organization is seeking a Master Scheduler to assist in developing and maintaining an achievable and compliant Master Production Schedule (MPS) that best supports our customer requirements as well as other ongoing activities related to Supply/Demand Alignment at our Amarillo Assembly Center.

The Master Scheduler will manage the MPS between supply and demand plants while considering any applicable government regulatory requirements. This role requires close collaboration with Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Bell COEs, Finance/EVMS and Contracts.

What you'll be doing as a Master Scheduler

  • Review Master Schedule Change Board (MSCB) queue for new requests in assigned area or already assigned. Review request per established work aid and determine feasibility of request.

  • Review Independent Demand Request (IDR) queue for new requests in assigned area or already assigned. Review request per established work aid and load demand and/or process stakeholder feedback appropriately.

  • Process Stock Transfer Order (STO) requests to transfer materials from Plant to Plant, as requested through the MSCB.

  • Firm Planned Orders to assist in leveling the supply/demand profile where offsets, plant shutdowns and rate changes impact a level load.

  • Conduct level loading and supply signal alignment as dictated by business needs.

  • Manage Network Demand for Independent Demand Requests.

  • ! Skills You Bring To this Role

  • Ability to review MPS schedules to determine inventory and/or supply alignment concerns.

  • Ability to prioritize work with good analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player attitude.

  • Excellent communicator. Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internals and external suppliers, and brief leaders/customers.

What you need to be successful

  • 3 years of experience in procurement, scheduling, planning, and build of aerospace products.

  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/production control environment.

  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP functionality, bills of material, and rate-based scheduling.

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in a Technical Discipline, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.

  • Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
