Manager III- Starting Market rate salary $95,641.94Implements, supervises, and coordinates regional enforcement activity programs in Regulatory Services. Serves as regional chairperson for the regional Enforcement Committee and provides testimony at hearings as a representative of the Committee. Maintains liaison with the office of General Counsel/Regional Attorney. Coordinates regional responses to legal documents and inquiries for hearings. Represents Survey Operations region during enforcement meetings for all program types and provides enforcement recommendations as a member of the review team. Ensures deficiencies/violations and associated documents are sent to facilities. Inputs enforcement recommendations into Federal and state enforcement databases. Maintains liaison with the State Office Quality Assurance teams. Coordinates regional responses to legal documents and inquiries for hearings. Assists in developing regional policies/procedures and conducts special projects to meet the region's goals. Coordinates all referral activity within the region. Oversees Informal Dispute Resolution activity including entry of findings into the Federal database. Provides testimony as a representative of the Enforcement Committee at formal hearings, informal reviews, and court action. Participates in the Immediate Jeopardy review process to include review of Immediate Jeopardy Template, participation in Immediate Jeopardy calls, and review of facility Plan of Removal.Registrations, Licensure Requirements or CertificationsMust successfully obtain Surveyor Minimum Qualification (SMQT) within the first year of employment.Knowledge Skills AbilitiesKnowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to program areas and of the principles and practices of public administration and management.
