Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for several QC Lab Technician positions at a food company south of Houston.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform grinding, weighing, and preparation of samples for quality tests

• Prepare chemical buffers and aliquots according to GMP guidelines

• Maintain and operate liquid handlers and automated lab equipment

• Perform laboratory processes and operate instrumentation with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems

• Adhere to established practices with precision and efficiency

• Monitor quality assurance parameters and take corrective action as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related discipline is preferred but not required

• Work experience in positions requiring repetitive tasks

• Strong attention to detail is required

• Ability to recognize problems through observations, documentation, etc.

• Computer proficient, especially with Microsoft Office products

These are temporary assignments with the possibility of being hired by the company based on personal performance and business needs. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional overtime and work on Saturdays as needed. Pay is commensurate upon level of applicable education and experience.
