The DeGol Organization is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead its technology team. The IT Director will lead the IT department as well as set the strategic and operational plans for all IT functions as well as ensure business continuity among all of its sites and services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals including help desk technicians and software developers.
• Set and adhere to the annual IT budget.
• Manage all IT related projects and prioritize to align with business objectives.
• Ensure business continuity and connectivity across 15 sites with an on-premise server infrastructure.

Required skills

• Experience managing a team of IT professionals.
• Experience in on-premise Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Experience with on-premise Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Experience with server virtualization.
• Network design and optimization experience.
• Network security concepts, particularly VPN.
• Business Continuity and enterprise disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with MRP/ERP software.
• Strong communication skills are required as the IT Director must collaborate with other departments to drive the technology direction of the organization.

Preferred skills

• While programming skills are not required, experience with software development or managing software developers is preferred as the DeGol Organization retains its own in-house development team.
• Experience with telecommunications systems, on-premise, PBX, Cisco VOIP systems, and/or other communications platforms preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft IIS and Web hosting technologies.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 10+ years IT experience with minimum of 5 years management experience

Job Requirements

• Normal schedule of Monday -- Friday 8am -- 4pm, but the IT Director must be on-call and available nights and weekends.
• Travel throughout the Northeast is occasionally required.
