The CNA is responsible for performing direct patient/resident care duties under the supervision of nursing personnel. He/she will assist in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for the residents. The CNA provides nursing functions as directed by supervisors including daily personal care, turning residents in bed, sponge baths, measuring/recording temperature, pulse and respirations, weighing/measuring residents, performing restorative and rehabilitative procedures, observing/reporting the presence of skin breakdowns, etc.
