Our client, an Industrial leader in Altavista VA, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to join their team on 2nd shift. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be part of the operations supporting the supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Stockroom Clerk

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range: $17.16 per hour

What's the Job?

• Receive and check supplies to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Generate receiving records on supplies and maintain perpetual records.

• Assist in preparing orders and requisitions for shipment.

• Issue parts and chemicals in accordance with plant and audit requirements.

• Perform general housekeeping and manage hazardous/universal waste as necessary.

• Working in a fiberglass environment

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED.

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,Typing, and Word. Passing the test is required to move forward in the hiring process.

• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to follow safety regulations and handle hazardous materials responsibly.
