AdventHealth VP Strategy & Growth CFD Northwest Market in Altamonte Springs, Florida

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Vice President (VP) Strategy & Growth for AdventHealth Central Florida Division - Northwest Market.

GENERAL SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the VP Strategy & Growth is responsible for strategic planning and prioritized growth initiative portfolio management for the Market – driving strategic volume and revenue growth and business development efforts. This VP will serve as a strategic thought partner and provide clear, synthesized scenarios and recommendations to Market and Division leadership grounded in business analytics, proactive market sensing, industry trends, community need, and predictive modeling to plan for population growth, market share capture, clinical programmatic development and expansion, along with opportunities to drive innovative consumer offerings and experiences. In collaborative partnership with the Institutes and AHMG, these recommendations will be expressed through the development of and annual updates to the Market three-year strategic plans aligned with Division strategic priorities and corporate aspirations, as well as initiative-specific business cases and pro formas. This role is accountable for the successful execution of strategic initiatives and promotion of critical operational decision making in alignment with Market leadership. This VP will also oversee the Campus Business Development and Physician Liaison teams to promote achievement of projected impact of strategic initiatives and key performance targets.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead overall Market growth strategy development and execution; develop and lead revenue generation and strategic growth initiatives consistent with the mission.

  • Identify and develop high priority strategic opportunities, risks, key capital projects, and potential acquisitions and partnerships. Ensure each strategic initiative has a robust and complete business case, which includes sound market data as well as a strong financial pro forma.

  • Partner with Market leadership to align key stakeholders to craft narrative and gain critical support and funding for strategic priorities.

  • Validate and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to drive business growth; operationalize growth and physician alignment strategies; facilitate smooth handoff to operations as soon as appropriate.

  • Drive accountability to strategic plan in coordination with Institutes and AHMG leadership through monthly Market Strategy syncs and culminating in quarterly Division Growth Council meeting.

  • Ensure that appropriate metrics are in place to measure performance and progress towards achieving strategic goals and projected impact.

  • Identify and pursue potential capital projects, provider affiliations, and partnerships to achieve strategic goals.

  • Coordinate with Finance to prioritize capital projects and develop business plans, including detailed assumptions to inform pro formas.

  • Identify potential in-market merger or acquisition targets, partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic partnership opportunities. Collaborate with Deals Team to guide opportunities to fruition.

  • Participate in negotiation of business terms and support development of legal agreements for provider affiliations and other partnerships.

  • Leverage data and business intelligence to analyze market and internal dynamics; evaluate trends to anticipatenew issues and opportunities for the organization.

  • Act as “think tank” to identify and test opportunities for innovation within the Market

  • Oversee Campus Business Development teams which will be responsible to:

  • Develop detailed tactical work plans and provide project management to implement key initiatives.

  • Ensure physician engagement and support for strategic initiatives.

  • Direct provider outreach aligned with growth priorities and to increase provider preference for AdventHealth facilities and services; gain / synthesize community intelligence to inform strategy development.

  • Collaborates with Marketing to inform consumer marketing priorities and planning of community events. Connects with Government Relations to ensure local municipal support for key initiatives.

  • Monitor variances to understand Campus volume trends and implement action plans, as needed.

  • Creates an engaged, high-functioning work environment, unifying teams around mission and a clear set of collective goals, while reinforcing mutual accountability for results.
