The role you’ll contribute:

Reporting to the Supply Chain and Business Services Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and managing multiple projects for AdventHealth Strategic Supply Chain. The Project Manager must ensure all business, technical and hospital stakeholders are engaged, and projects are completed per the project schedule. The Project Manager is responsible for a wide variety of communication needs including writing, editing, visual data management, data analysis, and coordinating and updating communication collaterals for various strategic initiatives. This position will develop content that represents the Supply Chain and Business Services for both internal and external audiences and for all levels of the organization. This position will lead the Supply Chain and Business Services Events Planning Team and spearhead major retreats and conference planning.

• Plan, coordinate, control and execute projects that span across various Supply Chain divisions

• Define, manage, and monitor project-wide reporting and tracking for leadership updates

• Document and drive issues through resolution, escalation to project leadership, functional/technical, and executive leadership as necessary

• Develop relationships across the team to allow for cross-functional issue resolution and risk mitigation

• Oversee and coordinate project team members including operations, strategic sourcing, pharmacy, shared services, consultants, technical, functional (including contact center), and hospital/facility and lead project status meetings

• Create and track project plans, milestones, and deliverables for each project

• Ensure detailed project documentation is maintained including meeting minutes, issues/risks logs, and action items, business cases and PowerPoint

• Identify Performance Improvement opportunities across the Supply Chain and Business Services for:

o Efficiency and process or methodology improvements

o Lessons learned from previous projects and application to future projects

o Seamless communication across teams as it relates to changes in processes or methodologies

• Work closely with Supply Chain and Business Services Manager to lead communications strategy for the Supply Chain and Business Services Team.

• Support the communication needs of organizational strategic initiatives through effective writing, planning, coordination, design and execution, monitoring project deadlines for consistent delivery.

• Create materials to advance strategic initiatives while following AHS graphic brand standards and policies, keeping key messages consistent and standardized, escalating risks to Manager and department leaders as appropriate.

• Develop written materials and visual content for Supply Chain and Business Services Cabinet Leadership and Staff meetings.

• Lead the Supply Chain and Business Services Events Team and develop, coordinate, and execute creative, unique, and productive events for the Supply Chain and Business Services Team

• Collaborate with the design team, studio team, and creative team to plan and develop content for events.

• Display original thinking, seek increased responsibilities, and demonstrate willingness to make sound and accurate decisions.

• Act as thought partner to discuss and develop draft material with Manager and Chief Supply Chain Officer for key note speaking engagements.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a project manager

• Experience as a Team Lead or equivalent responsibilities as a project resource

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher

• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies

• Experience with executive-level communications and presentations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Experience in Supply Chain, Finance, and/or the healthcare field

• Oracle PeopleSoft system and process knowledge

• Continuing education and / or experience in Project Management or other business-related software or practice such as PeopleSoft, Agile, Six Sigma, etc.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

• PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification
