The role you’ll contribute:

The Solutions Manager is responsible for leading workforce management and solutions initiatives within the department. The manager in partnership with their leader is responsible for optimizing the performance and productivity of the workforce by identifying and streamlining best practices in terms of workflows, touches, and offering ideas on how to improve processes for the most efficient workflow. Identify workforce management opportunities available in the time scheduling application, work queue monitoring reports, and Epic dashboards, to forecast and manage the workforce ensuring KPIs are consistently met. Predict workforce needs as AdventHealth grows service lines and facilities. Work with the department leader to oversee the identification, planning and execution of automation tools and applications that will enhance efficiency and productivity. Partner with our vendors to assess workforce needs and validate vendor support for approval of payment. Identify barriers within the system or workflows and make suggestions on how to improve and ensure the success of the front-line team members. Work with subject matter experts on best practice workflows to maximize productivity and ensure minimal touches on each account. The workforce manager possesses strong leadership skills, has an analytical background and is a strategic thinker. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff and leaders.

· Management oversight of supporting team.

· Participates in RFI and RFP ongoing initiatives to identify and engage automation and workforce solutions.

· Partner with subject matter experts to identify ideal workflow in terms of system edits.

· Partner with subject matter experts to identify ideal workflows in terms of processes and work queue routing, Epic account activities and account statuses.

· Attends meetings with current vendors to communicate needs and partners with vendors on system and workflow improvements.

· Creates playbooks for workflows and routing of accounts.

· Establishes workflows for the proper utilization of applications and tools.

· Responsibility and accountability for the accuracy and outcomes of analyses run by the department, ensuring staffing levels based on volume are appropriate.

· Analyze staffing levels, volumes, and key performance indicators

· Provide staffing projections for new, expanding, and existing services

· Oversee management of employee assignments and paid time off.

· Collaborate with department leaders on requests for system enhancement and present solutions for approval.

· Prepare and present analyses and reports articulating rationale around performance metrics, forecast data, FTE requirements and savings, and other key service metrics.

· Train, optimize, and ensure the proper utilization of workforce management tools

· Analyze staffing models based on productivity and predict system staffing needs.

· Work with department leaders to understand resource requirements and how to utilize tools and workflows to ensure short- and long-term staffing success.

· Analyze real-time and historical data to modify forecasting; strive for continuous improvement in forecasting and staffing

· Assist in annual budgeting efforts using staffing models created by workforce management team

· Manage vendors utilized by the team, participating in meetings and validating invoices.

· Provide support, coaching, and direction for leaders.

· Perform all other duties as necessary

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Demonstrated interpersonal, customer relations, and communication skills

· Strong organizational and coordination skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs and Adobe

· Technological aptitude to master additional programs and technologies.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

· Demonstrated ability in successfully collaborating with multiple departments

· Change management champion

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, health services administration, or associated field or 7 years working in Revenue Cycle workforce solutions.

· Seven years of workflow solutions providing guidance, build support, outlining and validation of workflows to ensure efficient workflows in the Epic EMR.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

· Experience in Epic EMR build and workflows/processes.

· Experience within AdventHealth

· Experience with Dolbey CAC

· Experience with 3M CRS

· Experience with Iodine CDI application.
