Robert Half Compensation Analyst in Altamonte Springs, Florida

Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. Located in the Orlando metro area, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where the selected candidate will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the compensation functions for a large company that we are partnering with.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate recommendations for pay grade placement following compensation best practices and company guidelines

• Determine appropriate exempt or non-exempt assignment in accordance with federal regulations for requests of new or revised classifications

• Implement audits for data standardization and clean-up

• Assist in reviewing, drafting, and editing job descriptions for accuracy

• Communicate effectively with others regarding interpretation questions and escalating issues to the lead or manager as needed

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company structure/leadership and policies in all areas, along with best practices in other organizations

• Prepare for corporate salary survey participation as directed

• Assist with annual market adjustment as directed; load and update compensation data

• Analyze the impact of new programs or changes to programs, preparing reports that indicate differences and potential impacts including costs, workforce impacts, procedure impacts and communication impacts

• Serve as a source of information regarding pay practices and policies; provide advice to leadership on new or non-routine compensation decisions for employees, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation

• Document all activities related to compensation, including electronic

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to perform complex functions such as VLOOKUP and manage large spreadsheets

• Extensive knowledge of compensation and benefits, including administration and analysis

• Experience with PeopleSoft and Workday HR management systems

• Background in healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industries

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and translate data into meaningful insights

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders

• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining salary structures and benefit schemes

• Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to compensation and benefits

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. TalentMatch®
