About the Role:As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents while supporting the Director of Nursing in leading a dedicated nursing team. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care and the overall success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and uphold exceptional standards of care across the nursing team.
Support compliance with all regulations and foster effective communication at all levels of nursing staff.
Address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring individualized, compassionate care.
Assist in the development and implementation of nursing care plans.
Stay current with general nursing practices, ensuring the team is well-informed.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records and documentation.
Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
Maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet the dynamic needs of the facility.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing on daily operations and responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For:
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings.
Proven ability to train, lead, and manage clinical staff effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with supervisory experience.
