ADP Workers' Compensation Policy Associate in Alpharetta, Georgia

Position Summary:
Provides direct and indirect administrative support to Policy Management, including completing carrier and broker file weekly updates, certificates of insurance (COI), endorsements, and monopolistic policy state filings. Collaborates with our Client Acceptance Department, Audit Department, and Risk & Safety Department.
Areas of responsibility include the following:
Annual workers' compensation policy renewal.
Coordinating issuance of minimum premium and zero payroll policies
Workers' compensation policy endorsements: USL&H, Foreign Travel, Defense Base Act, etc.
State filing notices & penalty management
Workers' compensation policy changes: new state exposure, FEIN changes, name changes, ownership changes, and dba additions/changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process or handle the following required tasks: policy applications, underwriter approvals, starts and terminations, policy changes, quarterly client claims list, monthly claim transfers, payroll reports, assessments, invoices.
Annual workers’ compensation policy renewal: Act as a project coordinator for collecting, reviewing and processing information for submission to the insurance carrier to renew the workers’ compensation insurance program.
Process delinquent state filing notices and penalty management: new starts and terminations.
Process workers’ compensation policy changes: new state exposure, FEIN changes, name changes, ownership changes, and dba additions/changes.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma / GED
1 year experience in policy management
Customer service experience and relationship building
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
Bachelor's Degree - Risk Management
Workers' compensation experience
