Your role at Clorox:

The University Programs Specialist will implement effective Talent Acquisition practices for entry-level recruitment by building and performing innovative sourcing strategies and recruitment plans. You will build and maintain relations with educational institutions and diversity partnerships, coordinate and participate in virtual and onsite recruitment events, and handle the full-cycle recruitment process for entry-level positions. Additionally, you will plan and execute the summer internship program, ensure a seamless transition from intern to full-time employee, and collaborate with internal teams to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute Recruitment Strategies: Partner closely with Manager and function recruiting leaders to build and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates from diverse pipelines.

  • Build Diverse Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with educational institutions, including career services, faculty, and student organizations in addition to diversity organizations and community partnerships to ensure a diverse pipeline of candidates.

  • Campus Recruitment Events: Plan, coordinate, and participate in campus recruitment events such as career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Handle the entire recruitment process for entry-level positions, from implementing strategy, to sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers and closing candidates; serving as the point of contact for hiring managers, functional recruitment team captains, event volunteers, and candidates.

  • Internship Program Management: Assist and handle the design, programming, and execution of the internship program, including the conversion of interns to full-time roles; serve as the Program Manager to ensure smooth program execution.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (L&D, Payroll, Compensation, Functions, etc) to ensure recruitment efforts align with the company’s business and talent strategies.

  • Data Analysis: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the efficiency of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements and decisions.

What we look for:

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience focused on candidate management, university recruitment event & program management and/or diversity recruitment initiatives.

  • Experience recruiting for Business roles and MBA programs (preferred)

  • This role will require travel about 30% of the year, primarily in Fall with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Recruitment

  • Knowledge of effective sourcing, interview and selection processes including: behavioral interviews, high volume interviews with schedule complexity, and case study interviews

  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and University Recruitment job boards.

  • Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking in developing creative recruitment strategies with strong decision-making skills.

  • Consumer obsession with relationships built on integrity and trust; Relationship building capability with school partnerships and organizations.

Program Management

  • Experience with event management and logistics coordination with solid attention to detail and ability to be forward thinking.

  • Strong leadership skills for influencing functional partners on best practice and data-based decisions.

  • Experience building or executing content designed for entry level talent through intern programs or rotation programs.

  • Bring a continuous improvement approach to recruitment processes using data to drive program improvements.

Administrative

  • Handles administrative and coordination responsibilities of the end-to-end talent acquisition process including logistics and event planning for university and diversity recruitment events.

  • Support interview scheduling, room setup, travel arrangements, and any other required support activities for the recruiting and program process.

  • Highly proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software programs, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Handles the University Programs email inbox

Workplace type:

Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $69,600 - $127,400

–Zone B: $63,800 - $116,800

–Zone C: $58,000 - $106,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
