Summary/Objective
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, expertise in business intelligence tools, and the ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. You will be responsible for developing and managing BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting decision-making across various departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Among other duties and responsibilities, the Power BI Analyst will:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Create and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation.
Maintain data accuracy and ensure consistent reporting standards.
Conduct training sessions to educate users on Power BI functionalities.
Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions to enhance data quality.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field required
Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
Proficiency in Power BI and a strong understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server)
Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
