Are you ready to be part of a Fortune 500 company at the forefront of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management solutions worldwide? Our client is seeking a Part-Time Inventory Clerk to join their team in Alpharetta, contributing to their cutting-edge operations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Equipment Inventory Coordinator to join our team at the Shared Service Center in Alpharetta. This part-time role requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. You will play a crucial role in receiving and shipping computer equipment, creating UPS labels, and ensuring equipment is clean and tested before shipment. Your meticulous approach and ability to work independently with a sense of urgency will be key to your success. If you have at least 2 years of Inventory management experience then this is the role for you!

salary: $20 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Inventory Clerk, job duties include:

  • Receive incoming computer equipment shipments.

  • Create UPS labels and ensure proper packaging and shipping of equipment.

  • Clean equipment thoroughly, including screens and keyboards, to meet quality standards.

  • Test equipment functionality and troubleshoot basic issues before shipment.

  • Enter and maintain accurate data in Asset Tiger for tracking inventory movements and status updates.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill equipment requests promptly, ensuring a 1-day turnaround time.

  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to inventory and shipments.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate updates as required.

Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management or shipping/receiving for a logistics company.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking purposes.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with UPS shipping procedures and label creation is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Asset Tiger or similar asset tracking software is advantageous.

  • Must be able to lift and move computer equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs).
