Job Summary

The Learning Experience Specialist is responsible for providing and ensuring the highest level of customer service, to our internal and external customers as well as corporate and field employees. This position works directly with the Learning & Development team, subject matter experts, and other partners to design, develop and implement proper training to assist teams with the proper execution of client deliverables. The Learning Experience Specialist equips our employees with the requisite knowledge, skills, techniques, and motivation to perform at the highest level. Our Learning Experience Specialist must be able to design and develop learning experiences and facilitate virtual or face-to-face training. The Learning Experience Specialist must be strategic rather than reactive; assessing the skills and knowledge within MarketSource to determine the curriculum required to strengthen and retain the skills.

Essential Job Functions

Collaborate with program and client stakeholders to perform front-end analysis to identify knowledge gaps and define learning and development needs.

Collaborate with team to design and develop interactive and engaging digital and print deliverables such as storyboards, video scripts, eLearning courses, Facilitator Guides, Learner Guides, PowerPoints, microlearning, job aids, and handouts.

Develop and implement training evaluation instruments.

Conduct instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training, including:

New employee orientation

Software or technical training

Soft skills, leadership, and sales training

Train-the-trainer sessions

Identify and customize training activities to incorporate into training for specific class and learner needs.

Leverage multi-media solutions to enhance learning experiences.

Perform administrative tasks such as managing roster and ensuring learner completion of self-paced activities and evaluation surveys; and LMS administration.

Communicate frequently and effectively with leadership and various project stakeholders to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.

Collaborate with all members of the Learning & Development team.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including speaking to live audiences, writing, copyediting, and proofreading

Excellent organizational, planning, and presentation skills

Open to giving and receiving feedback

Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with responsiveness and flexibility

Possess a growth mindset

Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities

Ability to operate successfully in cross functional teams

Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization

Experience with authoring tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office Suite, and Articulate

Job Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in related role

Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Demonstrated track record of conducting live training events

Occasional travel may be required

Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, assessments, and training evaluation
