ADP Lead Project Manager, Lyric Process in Alpharetta, Georgia

ADP is hiring a Lead Project Manager to join our team.

No two days are the same. You will work alongside a team of passionate, creative team members to brainstorm communication across other functions to avoid potential issues in the project plan. While every day is fast-moving and unpredictable, one thing is sure: people skills are necessary for every aspect of this job.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple initiatives at ADP and work with a team of highly skilled consultants, managers, developers, and subject matter experts. The project manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects by interfacing with senior management and project team members to meet expectations, while driving the program forward. This position's primary purpose is to manage projects that support the Implementation Process and optimize our implementation through process, methodology and playbook management and project plan templates management. These projects will include process creation and refinement as well as implementation tooling requirements to help support the Implementation organization. This position may lead project teams for various implementation projects simultaneously.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Partner with Implementation team, NAS Operations, Service, Client Success, Product, and other departments to create and refine process and implementation methodology

  • Partner with the Product team and Implementation Services on implementation tooling needs, requirements, testing, and training, documentation, and org readiness

  • Creating or modifying process documentation or engagement models in partnership with SMEs, Product, Operations, Tooling, and other partners across ADP globally

  • Serve as a workstream lead for Implementation on special projects and initiatives

  • Create training content, deliver training to the leaders and to the implementation team

  • Manage day-to-day activities of projects and staff in a matrixed organization

  • Ensure milestones are successfully met through the management, tracking, and reporting of project vehicles and coordination of resources

  • Work collaboratively with other departments impacting projects, including gaining agreement and negotiating outcomes

  • Provide scheduled and on-demand status reports and updates

  • Work under limited supervision to manage project timelines and risks

  • Gather information necessary to make decisions

  • Anticipate and resolve problems in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-7 years of experience managing complex projects including creating and managing project plans, managing project resources, issue resolution, and status reporting, training/communication, and project analytics

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills, communication skills, organization, and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and multiple projects, timelines, and priorities

  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including training/communication delivery

  • A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR

  • You're proficient using Microsoft Office suite and have experience with Financial Force, Anaplan, Confluence, or similar tools

  • You have experience in the Human Capital Management (HCM) Industry and/or knowledge and understanding of payroll

  • You have PMP, PgMP, PHR, SPHR, CCP, CBP, HCS, or other similar certifications from highly recognized professional learning institutions
