Job Description:

As a welder at Quest Industrial, LLC, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include reading and interpreting prints, accurately measuring materials, and welding various types of structural steel. You will be expected to set up and operate welding machines, ensuring that all equipment is properly configured for each task. Additionally, you will work closely with other team members, following directions and maintaining a positive work ethic. Your ability to weld in the flat position and your knowledge of safety protocols will be essential to your success in this role. We value trainability and eagerness to learn, and we are looking for candidates who are committed to professional growth and collaboration.

Skills:

• Experience in reading prints
• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16 of an inch
• Knowledge of various kinds of structural steel
• Ability to weld in the flat position at a minimum
• Knowledge to set up welding machines and space

Knowledge:

• Understanding of different types of structural steel
• Familiarity with welding techniques and equipment
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in welding
• Welding certificate (desired but not required)

Ability to Implement:

• Set up and operate welding machines
• Follow directions and work as part of a team
• Maintain good attendance and a positive work ethic
• Be trainable and eager to learn
